I have personally seen path issues with MD3000i & 3200i.

The default path will 'somehow' failover to the alternate path. The LUN will
often tresspass to the other controller. And this will show as an error
alert on the console. Contacted Dell and they dont have an answer for this
:(


no snapshots, no virtual disk copy?

You have snapshots and VD copy. But you have to purchase Premium features.



But Why do you want to go with Dell? I would better suggest EMC or may be
netapps.
