It is the only message. The same message is logged in /var/log/message.
OS version is RHEL 6.7. I am using the open iSCSI version shipped along
with RHEL 6.7 which is iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.873-21.el6.x86_64

You are getting an empty error message? That alone sounds like an issue.
Are there any other error messages in your messages file during that same
time?
What OS and version of open-iscsi are you using?

Would it be possible to control it from rsyslog.conf.
