Sorry for chiming into the discussion so late... Please Cc Boaz and myself on the discussions as we'd be interested to use such a library for implementing an iSCSI discovery daemon that can be used by kernel code (pnfs over OSD layout driver in our case) to initiate target discovery dynamically.
