Hi All, I am having propritory iscsi target which has support for Error Recovery Level 2. I am testing this target with MS initiator 2.06(latest). Whenever i do large copy of data some times. it is restarting the connection. When i saw the log. I found that there is Header digest kind of error occured and that PDU is droped by target and MS initator is sending Task management(LUN RESET) command which causes restart of connection.
I have confirmed this from RFC 3720 and it seems everything is fine with target, as the target should drop the PDU upon finding header digest error in the PDU. Please let me know what is behavior of MS Initiator? Whether it should resend droped PDU or send only Task Management?
