Re: dm-multipath support for open-iscsi

2009-03-02 Thread StorageSolutionGroup

Hi,

Yes,I have configured dm-multipath with my Stonefly storage and
running multipathing.
I have used linux-iScsi version 3.x,there were categories in the "/
etc/
iscsi.conf file" to set multipath and portal failover options. This
allowed multiple NIC cards to be seen and supported by iSCSI. These
options included "HostIPsforMP", "PreferredSubnet", "PortalFailover",
and "Multipath".You can download the open iScsi software from
http://www.open-iscsi.org/
or www.stonefly.com.

Yes. Thought you don't have to "put" these devices by yourself. Multipath
daemon will do that for you.
