Red Hat Linux and AIX *technical support* 2. Scripting abilities – *ksh, Perl, and Python and/or C* 3. UNIX security – understand the basics (*AD authentication, SSL, SSH*) 4. Virtualization support – *AIX LPAR creation, DLPAR* *Desired**:* 1. DataPower administrative experience/familiarity 2. Middleware knowledge – MQSeries, Message Broker, Data Transmissions (FTP SSH/SFTP) 3. Configuration management – Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc. 4. VMWare (Linux deployments) 5. Websphere Application Server knowledge and/or Tomcat 6. Performance tuning *Candidate Responsibilities:* 1. Basic UNIX administration (user account administration, VG, LV, and FS support – backfill day to day support so others can work on projects. 2. Assist other UNIX admins with project tasks 3. Some project work could be assigned depending on person’s skill set *Project Detail:* 1. UNIX server cleanup. Make sure that all the servers are configured with the same settings. This is for both AIX and Linux servers. 2. Convert some existing Red Hat Linux servers to CENT OS Linux servers 3.
