Developer Plano, TX 3+ Months Required * J2EE Portal knowledge is required Desired Skills 1) Complete understanding of the Autonomy search product and its architecture. 2) Must be able to install and configure Idol and its various fetch servers. 3) Must be able to configure fetch jobs and be able to perform field mappings. 4) Must be able to understand and develop JSR 168 compliant portlets. 5) Verity knowledge would be a plus. 6) Vignette Application Portal 7.x knowledge is a plus. 7) J2EE Portal knowledge is required. 8) Be open minded and willing to take on work outside of Autonomy specific work. 9) Good communication skills, self starter and a passion to learn and experiment with new things. Responsibilities 1) Provide project and baseline technical support for the portal developer environment. 2) Work with vendors to deploy code, adhere to coding standards and ensure quality. 3) Support various search projects using Autonomy infrastructure and be proactive to identify and resolve any issues that arise during day-to-day operations. 4) Participate in meetings with Technology partners and application team to review the design/solution and make recommendations based on the current infrastructure. 5) Work with development teams to deploy new search jobs and portlets in our environment. 6) Install and configure different Autonomy components ( Idol,Dish,Http Fetch,Documentum Fetch,File System Fetch ). 7) Be open minded and willing to learn other systems and be willing to provide support for these systems.
