Role: Oracle Database Architect Duration: About 12 months Location: Albany, NY Interview: Face to Face Only Local Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS: The NYS Department of Transportation requires a highly skilled data architect resource to assist with meeting the NYS Statewide Financial system Enterprise Enhancements (EE) requirements. The resource must be experienced and knowledgeable in the Oracle Portal Content Management System, its architecture, and its framework. Oracle Portal environment requires a complex suite of tools and technologies, and requires a data architect to understand the software, develop, administer, and architect application solutions within it. This staff resource must also possess experience with the NYS SFS business processes and transaction files related to bulk load, budget management (KK), and procurement contract processing. Additionally, the resource must be familiar with NYSDOT internal applications built within the Oracle Portal – the Web Interface Pre/Post Error Results SFS Sub-System “WIPPER” application – which requires an experienced knowledgeable resource to complete programming requirements for ongoing maintenance in order to comply with the requirements for SFS EE.
