Location: Stamford, CT

*Responsibilities:*

·         Participate in the analysis and design of applications with the
System Architect and Business Users, including business model, security
model, and business components.

·         Translate business model and user requirements into software
specifications.

·         Make recommendations for the development of new code and/or reuse
of existing code.

·         Deliver documentation, such as High Level Architecture, and Low
Level Design Documents during various stages of the project.

·         Support testing, such as Unit testing, SIT, and UAT.

*Skills Required:*

·         7+ years of experience working in large/complex IT architecture
environments as a solution or application architect on large scale
development projects.

·         Proven working knowledge of Object Orientated Programming
concepts, Java, J2EE, JSF, Tomcat, Spring, Web Services, Oracle and other
related technologies.

·         Strong analysis and design skills, including requirements
analysis, Object Orientated design patterns, and UML.

·         Ability to interact with both Business and Technology colleagues.

·         Experience within Financial Services, preferably within Wealth
Management.

·         Superb communication and analytical skills.
