*Position: **Storage Admin * *Interview: Phone & F2F * *Duration: **6+ months* *Location: Germantown, MD* *Visa: H1B, GC, US Citizen * This position is responsible for the production support and deployment of new projects for storage and Virtual Environment needs. The individual will work with various groups within IT and outside of IT to define requirements, understand the application requirements for the storage and provide strategic deployment and implementation guidelines for storage and Virtualized environment for the server infrastructure. In addition this position will be responsible to support UNIX operation systems issues, primarily on RedHat Linux and other data center related issues critical to operation support. The storage systems currently being used are EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, EMC Isilon, EMC Vplex, EMC Recoverpoint, NetApp, and IBM XIV. The position is also responsible for providing the production support for the break fix and performance issues on storage and server infrastructure. It requires good knowledge of blade infrastructure for the server hardware such as Cisco UCS, Dell Blades and HP Blades. Qualification/Skills • BS degree required • 8+ years of experience in Storage Administration and Architecture Experience primarily on various EMC storage EMC VMAX, VNX, Isilon. • 6 + years experience on SAN design and operation support on Cisco MDS and Brocade Fiber Channel switches. • Experience with Operating systems such as Linux, HPUX and Solaris. • Experience with Business continuity/DR through storage replication such as Recover Point and SRM. • Experience with storage virtualization and data migration projects. • Professional in VMware administration including the design and architecture of the networking in the VMware 5.5 and troubleshooting the performance and business critical issues. • Experience with application migration using Vsphere replication and other replication technologies. • Experience with HA and clustering technologies including VERITAS clustering or similar. • Experience with security and networking • Good Communication and presentation skills for communicating the project architecture design details through the drawing and presentation to various functions in IT. • Good troubleshooting experience for the infrastructure issues and reporting the root cause analysis.
