*WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS*

Minimum Requirements:

5Java, JSP, and JSF development for developing web applications
5Interfacing applications with Relational database (e.g., Oracle, SQL
Server, DB2)
4Must have a strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis
skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements.
2Work experience in system testing which includes the development of test
plans, test cases and conducting testing sessions.
2Strong interviewing, facilitation, problem resolution, consensus building,
and negotiating skills.
1Experience with Websphere Integration Developer (WID)
StrongProfessional who works well independently or as part of a team.
StrongStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, including but
not limited to requirements gathering, documentation, both of code and
systems, and demonstrated other forms of communications


*PREFERENCES*
YearsSkills/Experience
2Experience with Rational Application Developer
2Demonstrated experience in Java web programming
1Demonstrated experience in using IBM WebSphere tools.


*TERM OF SERVICE*
Services expect to start approximately April 15, 2010 and are expected to be
completed by August 31, 2010.  Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed
856 hours.  This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing
both parties agree to do so in writing.

*WORK HOURS AND LOCATION*
A.    Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless
otherwise coordinated through the TEA. Normal business hours are Monday
through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when
the agency is closed.
B.     The primary work location(s) will be at 1701 North Congress Avenue,
Austin, Texas 78701.  Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living
expenses shall be at the Worker’s and/or Vendor’s expense.
C.     TEA will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for
any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s).
Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the
rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified
employees, including any requirement for original receipts.
The Worker(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on
weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.  Payment for work over 40
hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and
pre-approved through TEA.
