Please see the pertinent details below: *Position:* Sr. J2EE/Java Developer *Length:* 9+ Months *Location:* Jacksonville, FL *Rate:* $45/hr is about the top of the range *Key Experience/Qualifications:* - Excellent J2EE/Java Skills - Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis/Design/Development - Strong JSF Skills - Experience in Hibernate, Spring, WebSphere, Oracle environments - Major Plus: Experience in DDD (Domain-Driven Design) - Strong understanding of Systems Scalability Job Duties include but are not limited to: *J2EE Development with JSF, Hibernate and Spring open source framework. *Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products *Write code for system designs that span platforms *Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) *Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs *Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points *Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects *Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications *Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle *Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach *Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to technical team and client Job Requirements: *Bachelor’s degree in related business area or equivalent work experience and 6 or more years of related work experience *Strong JSF skills *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Demonstrated experience with Unix (AIX) operating systems *Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Demonstrated experience programming using Java J2EE language *PC Skills *Demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query language *Demonstrated experience using debugging tools (such as, Expeditor, File Aid) RAD *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (such as, ClearCase) *Flowcharting tools (such as, Visio) *IBM Websphere Application server 6.0+ experience *Advanced Experience with RUP methodology and rational tools *Experience developing web based services and SOA *Experience developing in Hibernate and Spring *Experienced applying J2EE security, Concurrency, Transactions, Session Management, J2EE Patterns, and Frameworks to application solutions *Understanding of J2EE, MQ Series, IBM WSAD or RAD, Apache Struts, Unix Shell Scripting, Database, Db2, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and XML technologies *Experience developing with AJAX *Bachelor’s degree Thanks & Regards Matt I.T.
