*Duration: *6 Months *Visa:* Green Card or US Citizen *Description:* *Technical Skills/Experience Required:* · 7-10 years of proven experience as a Data Modeler · Strong knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment · Robust hands-on experience using ER/Studio as a database design solution · Strong understanding using SQL Server 2014 as a back-end tool · Skilled at understanding E*nterprise* *Data Warehouse* (*EDW*) for reporting, *data* analysis and BI · Agile experience · Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the Finance/Banking or Insurance industries is a major plus *Responsibilities:* · Assist in the development of strategies for archive, data recovery, database implementation and data acquisition · Work with other IT departments to assist in the coordination of future activities and plans · Complies with meta-data management standards to ensure repositories are maintained with common data definitions, data lineage, and field level security definitions. Complies with set design standards and processes. Adheres to regulatory guidelines, management directives, and company policies relating to the design, development and implementation of information management solutions. · Works with project teams and business areas on complex requests for special data extracts and analytical reports. Ensures requests are the correct solution for the business problem. · Produces periodic status reports and participates in project time tracking to support project requirements · Maintains industry data modeling best practices and database design techniques.
