*JD:*

·    2+ years of hands-on experience as a build engineer or similar role

   - Red Hat Linux - experience as an intermediate level administrator.
   Working knowledge of both physical and virtual Red Hat server deployments
   and long-term maintenance.
   - *Scripting *- proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g.
   Python, Ruby, Javascript, ksh/csh/bsh)
   - *Stash/Git* - provide support to the application development teams in
   migrating code from CVS/TFS
   - *Java (.NET a plus)* - provide support for application development
   teams
   - *Maven* - assistance in building POMs to facilitate deployments
   - *Jenkins* - administer and configure for code deployments
   - *Nexus *- experience using as a repository
   - *Ansible* - experience as an automation tool for Continuous Delivery
   pipeline



*Description*

Our client is seeking a UNIX Administrator to be a member of their
Relentless Automation team, which is tasked with delivering a Continuous
Development Pipeline to their customers.



*Key Accountabilities*

   - Migrates to a Continuous Development model and redesigns existing
   build procedures to reduce complexity and take advantage of the “pipeline.”
   - Automates code deployment from non-production to production
   environments using tools such as Stash/ GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and
   Ansible.
   - Provides support to the Application Development teams in migrating
   code from CVS/ TFS.
   - Continuously improves processes and integrates best practices.
   - Oversees moderate Red Hat Linux system administration, which ranges
   from basic to moderately complex tasks.
   - Provides technical support for basic to moderate-level projects and
   issues on RHEL servers.
   - Participates in on-call rotation and off-hours rotation.

*Required Skills:*

   - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
   - Industry-recognized certifications preferred (e.g.* RHCSA*).
   - 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Build Engineer or similar role.
   - Experience as an intermediate-level administrator with *Red Hat Linux*.
   Working knowledge of both physical and *virtual Red Hat server*
   deployments and long-term maintenance.
   - Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby,
   JavaScript, ksh/ csh/ bsh).
   - Experience with Stash/ GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible and Java
   (.NET experience a plus).
