Job Title: API Developer SME Work location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12months+ Rate: open for right fit No of positions: 5 Please note we also need Technical Project Manager along with API SME Subject Matter Expert (SME) within organization. Contributes through own development of advanced technologies/concepts with global reach or industry application. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Creates Service Specifications and designs linking into overall API architecture. Coordination with Foundry, Architecture, Program, and Marketing is required. Supports individual releases and realizes requirements into production. Owns and is responsible SME for multiple API’s in API Platform, and owns Northbound Architecture. Responsible for requirements, user stories, and design validation of API’s into production. Accountable for overall user experience for the Developer. Tier 4 Production support responsibility.Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall systems, including hardware and software. Determines integrated hardware and software solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinates design and integration of systems including subsystems. KNOWLEDGE Has extensive specialized technical expertise. Applies expert knowledge and broad understanding of multiple disciplines. Integrates expert knowledge of technical principles/methods of multiple disciplines with knowledge of products/services. Analysis and Problem Solving - Solves unique problems through evaluative judgment and precedent. Independently applies sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues and develops new concepts, methods and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Recognizes and pursues alternative methods. Independence - Guided by department goals and objectives. Exercises latitude in determining objectives and approaches to projects. Leads multiple projects of small to medium size and technical breadth. Communication - Provides technical guidance and explains advanced concepts to others in work area. Coordinates across multiple departments. Promotes active listening and open communication. Provides leadership and guidance to others.
