Title: ETL Lead Designer posted on 2014-10-02 18:47:24 Job Description:*Lead Designer – HealthCare, Data Warehousing background* Acts as the Lead Designer. Provides experience in data warehousing architecture, technologies, tools, designs and practices. Leads design recommendations and strategy decisions while providing the highest level of technical expertise for all phases of application development. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution. Major Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and maintain services for data movement, transformation and management of claim data from multiple source applications through the layers of the Claim Read Only Data Store (RDS). • Design and maintain a data access layer providing data extracts, marts, etc to support downstream needs of the Claim RDS. • Data profiling source systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based flat files, host and distributed RDBMS) using native SQL and tools • Create source to target mapping, including transformation rules. • Collaborate across IT and business to ensure design is consistent, accurate, flexible and scalable. • Lead design decisions to ensure best practices while managing enterprise expectations. • Provide governance and oversight of development resources to ensure solution meets design requirements. • Serves as an expert resource on matters of data design in all phases of data warehouse and data mart development, implementation and support. • Ensure all design artifacts are maintained across multiple implementations Job Requirements: ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED (What skills/experiences must this person have to even be considered?) *• In depth knowledge Medical Claim processing and data flows• Experience with High volume, high transaction Data Warehousing Systems• Experience in data profiling.• SQL expertise with solid data research and analysis skills• Hands on technical expertise in operating and developing applications that make use of Oracle databases• Hands on technical expertise in data integration tools (e.g. Informatica, IBM InfoSphere Datastage)• Hands on technical expertise of Information Management concepts: Massive Parallel Processing warehouse platforms, Data quality, Metadata management, Data Integration/ETL, EAI, and CDC platforms• Ability to successfully work within multiple requirements, design, and development approaches and methodologies (agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.)* • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills • Self-motivated • Self-learner Required qualifications Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least seven or more years’ experience in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, data mining, data entity analysis, logical and relational data base design, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/256170> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
