•Assist in software activities in defined span of control for the

Job Requirements:

*Client: State of Ohio Project*

State of Ohio is seeking a computer professional who has skills in the
quality assurance, business analysis, and software development domains.
The selected candidate will have experience in the VSTS development
platform using AGILE methodology.

*****This is primarily a QA position****    The selected candidate will be
doing QA work approximately 80% of the time.*

*Quality Assurance Specialist Skills*

The selected candidate responsible for the design, pilot, and
implementation of the software quality assurance review processes.  The
selected candidate will have knowledge of Agile test driven development
practices.  The selected candidate will plan, construct, and executes a
number of testing protocols including: product tests, system tests, unit
tests, load tests for release control processes.  The selected candidate
will ensure testing integrates with the release control process.

*Business Analyst Skills*

The selected candidate is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques
used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the
structure, policies, and operations of an organization.

The selected candidate will provide program technical assistance to state
and contracted information technology professionals during one, multiple or
all phases of an assigned project.   The selected candidate will provide
information to assist during the inception (i.e., development of the scope
and outline of the general requirements) of a project, and/or review the
design documents.   State of Ohio is an AGILE shop as part of the business
analysis activity, the selected candidate will be asked to develop and
refine user stories.  In this hybrid role the selected candidate will work
with the QA team to support QA processes as necessary.  The selected
candidate should have deep experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio
Platform.   Specifically, VSTS 2013 in order support program and project
management staff with the story lifecycle management which includes;
Adding user requirements to stories; adding artifacts obtained from the
business to stories, developing supporting artifacts based on interviews
with the technical and business team, writing acceptance criteria,
assisting with the development of acceptance criteria and assisting with
the migration of user stories from committed to ready for test
processes.    As part of this process the selected candidate will use
Mocking tools such as Balsamiq and MS Office suite of products (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint) to develop the aforementioned items.   The selected
candidate may also utilize CRM tools to configure applications as assigned.

*.NET skills*

The selected candidate will work with the development team in the analysis,
design, and testing of the application code. Code is developed  in a
Microsoft centric environment.  Applications are developed using n-tier web
based approach using VB .Net 4.0 and higher frameworks;   Prior use of
Jquery, Javascript is necessary.  Code management skills with TFS and the
AGILE SDLC are required for this position.  The selected candidate will
work with the Architecture Specialist to ensure that design and code meets
customer requirements.
