SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1. Technical Lead for the team with STRONG DB2 Expertise and PRODUCTION SUPPORT Experience 2. Is part of rotation for 24x7 on call 3. Modifies and maintains existing systems to address changes in business processes. 4. Performs research, analysis, design, creation and implementation of business systems to meet current and future user requirements. 5. Provides assistance and work direction to aid other associates in their day to day activities 6. Makes short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources 7. Manages customer satisfaction process taking accountability for addressing concerns 8. Provides estimates of work effort for client projects 9. Functions as a technical resource for other team members 10. Trains and/or mentors other team members, peers and clients as appropriate 11. Leads multiple projects to successful completion, maintaining scope within the time and budget constraints, while following client’s standards and meeting the client business needs. 12. Assists QA team with questions and test cases 13. Develops System documentation and provide assistance with user documentation 14. Conducts Code Reviews for all other developers on the team 15. Makes technical and architectural decisions regarding the application 16. Answers questions from the business as well as provide adhoc queries when requested. Desired Candidate Profile Must-Have COBOL, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, flat files (GDGs),REXX, JCL, DB2 stored procedures ,IBM utilities, Sync sort, CA tools, BMC tools, IBM tools, BMC Utilities, IBM DB2 Utilities, IMS-DC, Panvalet, Panapt, QMF, SPUFI, JES2Mail, SFTP, MQ Series Technology Development, Operations and Integration Time Management Multi-tasking Ability Analytical Ability Communications (Listening, Persuasiveness, Oral, Written) Leadership (Impact, Involvement, Change Management) People (Team Orientation, Judgment, Interpersonal Relations, Results/Goal Orientation, Resiliency/Adaptability) Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Project. At least 7-9 years full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding and unit/system testing.
