Title: Tax Manager posted on 2014-11-04 14:35:13 Job Description:*Title: Tax Manager* *Location: Cincinnati, OH* *Type: Permanent* *Job description* Our Client is looking for a high energy, seasoned financial professional to establish and lead our tax practice in a fast paced and fun working environment. You will have full responsibility for federal, state and local tax filings and be responsible for securing tax incentives and the fulfilling the related incentive reporting requirements. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance and Accounting. • Establish and lead overall tax practice, develop a long term plan to proactively address the organizations tax requirements • Ensure overall tax compliance • Serve as primary contact with external tax accounting firm • Full responsibility for federal, state and local tax filings • Securing tax incentives, monitoring progress on incentives and completing reporting requirements. Prepare a quarterly tax incentive update for Senior Management • Identify and capture tax savings opportunities • Resolve inquiries from regulatory authorities 3 main functions of the position in priority rank: 1. Tax preparation 2. Work with/serve as primary contact for external accounting firm 3.
