Title: UX Desinger posted on 2014-09-24 20:26:17 Job Description:*Role: UX Designer* *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Targeted Skills & Competencies:* · Collaborate closely with UX designers, business analysts, developers, digital marketing and business stakeholders to ensure that user-centered design techniques are employed throughout the software development lifecycle. · Recommend the most appropriate feedback gathering protocol (user testing, qualitative, quantitative, heuristic review, or other methodologies) with consideration of project goals, lifecycle, timeline and budget. · Work with (or without) UX designers and prototype developers to prepare stimuli for usability testing and other user research. · Plan, design and execute all user feedback sessions, analyze results and deliver research findings and actionable recommendations back to project teams. · Formulate partnerships across IT, marketing, analytics and business organizations to advance UX design goals and promote the UX Design Usability Practice. · Educate UX design managers, IT, marketing and business partners on the principles of user research, usability, metrics and design. *Expected Responsibilities: * · Master’s Degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering, Cognitive Psychology or related field is preferred. · Experience in e-commerce and/or or banking, or financial websites and mobile technologies is preferred. · Eclectic background in user-centered design, usability and interaction design with a good eye for visual design and writing for digital channels. · Ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines. · Must be flexible and can plan and execute research in a fast-paced environment.
