Title: Oracle Financials Analyst
Contract Duration: 12+ months
Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Financial Background preferred; must have experience in most if not all
modules –GL, AP, AR, FA, GL, CE, and iExpense. MarkView experience a plus.

Well-versed on Oracle terminology and methodologies, able to be flexible to
support other functional areas in addition to Oracle applications.
Basic understanding of SQL and SQL*Loader, and TOAD tools a plus.
Some experience with Oracle Discoverer, standard reporting modules, and
using Oracle’s BI tools.
Awareness of Oracle development, documentation and interface processes,
security, best practices, workflow, forms, and reports.
Experience working with business process owners and end-users to establish
sufficient levels of detailed requirements as well as creating test plans
and training documents.
Ability to represent the functional aspect and the business needs and
articulate to other team members.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
communicate and interact across multiple levels of the team across
timezones/countries – IT, Finance, Trainers, and end users
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex issues and pay attention to
details.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and thinking skills.
Proven flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities.
Basic Financial concepts in order to understand the business processes
within the applications.

Description:
Collaborate with project team and serve as a liaison between Finance and
the IT department to research, analyze, and validate business solutions and
ensure the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented to
support the business objective.
Comprehend technical and non-technical solutions that satisfy the strategic
direction and requirements of the business, and that conform to the
technical architecture, and optimize value to the business.
Provide efficient and effective user support and application setup of the
Oracle Financials according to business requirements.
Assist with the definition, creation, and documentation of all business
requirements.
Work with the team to support process/system improvement opportunities as
well as assisting with and driving change across the organization.
Serve as a functional expert on Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations.
Demonstrate integrity and excellence in interaction and delivery of end
product with the various business partners.
