*PHP Developer* *Location: San Diego, CA* *Can hire over Skype* *Candidate must be onsite* *Available: ASAP* *Must have lead a team in the past* · Planning: Participate in the planning process and prepare time estimates for assigned tasks. · Bachelor degree in computer science or a related discipline preferred with 5 years of systems/applications/database development experience, OR demonstrated ability to meet job requirements through a comparable number of years of technical work experience. · Experience leading small teams (5 members or less) · Must have understanding in agile software development methodologies · Experience in Object Oriented development in PHP is required · Must possess excellent front-end web development skills · HTML5: Semantic markup patterns for flexible reuse · CSS / SCSS: Good understanding of modern techniques such as Responsive Web Design and graceful degradation for older browsers · Javascript: Experience developing large, modular applications and proficiency with JQuery · Experience in application architecture, W3C standards, information architecture, accessibility and usability · Proficient using one or more Content Management Systems (Drupal, Wordpress, ExpressionEngine, etc) · Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and consuming RESTful web services via HTTP · Experience using version control systems (Subversion, Git) · Experience of building high performance websites, utilizing strategies such as HTTP caching, minification, etc · Must have strong analytical, development, communication and interpersonal skills. · Must be able to take ownership of complex problems or business processes and see the implementation to completion.
