They must know Flex, that includes Actionscript, Design Patterns (MVC, Singleton), Cairngorn (Flex/Java Framework) and Java. There are front end and back end positions. Flex is a front end technology. If they are really strong in Flex but weak in Java, we can bring them on. If they are strong in Java and how it integrates with Flex (Cairgorm or some equivalent) we can hire them. more details from client back end: MS SQL server, Apache, MAVEN (for building both Java and Flex) They are doing some lightweight unit testing - not really critical - using JUnit (I think) and FlexUnit on the Flex side front end: Adobe Flex, using Cairngorm.
