Position: Tivoli Consultant Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 6 months Rate:60/hr DESCRIPTION At least 1-2 years experience administering a Tivoli Framework version 4.1.1 deployment At least 1-2 years experience in working with Tivoli Configuration Manager 4.2.2 or higher deployment Working knowledge of the following Tivoli Framework components: Tivoli Management Server Managed Nodes/Gateways Endpoints Profile Managers Profiles Working knowledge of the following Tivoli Configuration Manager components: Inventory Software Distribution Mdist/Database Ability to create, modify and distribute profiles to profile managers and/or endpoints. Ability to create, modify and distribute software packages using the Software Distribution component of Tivoli Configuration Manager Create Inventory queries to gather hardware and software inventory data from various Tivoli Inventory databases. Export data in spreadsheet formats for use by various government and contractor personnel. Ability to write scripts in at least one of the following languages: Shell (Korn, Bourne or C) Perl Desired: At least 6-1 years experience involved in a Tivoli Provisioning Manager deployment Be an IBM Certified Deployment Professional - IBM-Tivoli Management Framework 4.1.1.
