Position:SAS Consultant Location:West Des Moines, IA. Duration:6-12 Months Description: This position is part of a team that administers Middleware applications server software and tools with a focus on the SAS software suite. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Requires 4 years of technical experience, which applies to software, engineering with the specific following technologies: Able to work as a team member that administers Middleware applications server software and tools with a focus on the SAS software suite. Essential requirements to include: Installation and configuration of SAS systems for multiple projects. Responsible for standard operations and maintenance support activities such as patch installation, and software upgrades to SAS systems Responsible for system and security administration of the organization's production SAS systems. Previous experience administering SAS Grid Manager, SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Enterprise Miner. Perform application deployments when necessary. Management of SAS libraries, data sets, catalogs and projects. End user support of SAS users through Client Remedy ticketing system. Perform scheduled maintenance weekend work. Perform emergency work as required.
