*SQL / Teradata - Data Warehouse Developer:* Looking for an experienced SQL Developer with Teradata to support Data Warehouse and do ETL Development. Must be able to profile data, develop, and do QA. Creates logical and physical Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams using tools such as Visio and Erwin. Must be able to work with and within a cross-functional development, QA, and Production Team. Requires SQL Server administration experience. Contract assignment located in Richardson, TX (Dallas, TX area) and local area candidates are preferred, but other qualified candidates will be considered. All selected candidates must be able to interview in person (No Skype interviews) and client does not pay for that expense. W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp options are available. Skills Required: SOLID SQL developer experience Must have applied experience working in a Teradata environment and using Teradata tools SQL programming, writing stored procs, data modeling knowledge, writing SSIS, Expert level knowledge in SQL programming. Microsoft SQL server administration Proven problem solving and debugging skills. Fine tune existing Stored Procedures and SQLs. Be able to maintain versions and syncup different Database environments. Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability Experience in data analysis, extensive utilization of DTS/SSIS for data transformation and loading of data, understanding of data modeling concepts, ability to understand and work with complex data models Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance.
