*Role: Hyperion Essbase Consultant* *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Description:* § Developing and maintaining Essbase Applications, Data Load Rules, Dimension Build Rules, Calculation Scripts and Report Scripts § Creating, maintaining and optimizing Essbase database outlines manually as well as through automated MaxL scripts Strong knowledge in Retail Domain Understanding and fairly good technical understanding on SQL and DW/BI § Proven analytical and problem solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend / implement effective solutions § Evaluate data availability and quality, and extract/transform data for analytic projects within the context of a Hyperion environment § Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications § Work with functional team/ Frameworks team to understand requirements and translate them to technical specifications § Define and develop client specific best practices around data management within a Hyperion environment § Natural technical and functional curiosity Familiar with Agile Methodology.
