Part of a DBA team who provides 24x7 on-call rotational shift support to troubleshoot environmental issues – performance, database recoveries, off hour maintenance as required. · Performance tuning, trending, troubleshooting and issue resolution across complex Oracle environments. · Creating solutions, analyzing/solving problems for challenging performance tuning situations. Responsible for standard database administrative tasks, such as: proactive performance tuning, load testing, monitoring and profiling, trouble-shooting, back-up and recovery, replication, installations, as well as applying patches and upgrades. · Knowledge transfer to other team members on discoveries, solutions, and analysis that can be helpful for the group as a whole.. · Validate technical solutions meet the application requirements. Assist in overall architecture and infrastructure design from a Dba perspective. · Monitor, evaluate, and advise on all database issues that relate to any system or development project.
