*Position: Cognos Developer* *Location: NYC* *Duration: 1 yr +* * * *Cognos Developer* We are looking for a Cognos Report Developer \ Web Application Developer to design and develop complex reports for the IBM OpenPages GRC application and to help support and develop the IBM OpenPages GRC application. *Responsibilities * Coordinate with the various business stakeholders (i.e. Operational Risk Management, Compliance, SOX\MAR Compliance, IT Risk Management, etc.) to determine reporting and system requirements Develop complex reports (dashboards, drill-through reports, crosstabs, etc) using for the OpenPages GRC application using Cognos 8 (as per business requirements) Develop \ implement changes to the application (as per business requirements) Assist with the general support and maintenance of the application, and help users resolve application and reporting issues Coordinate with the vendor (IBM) to create and troubleshoot custom application components and utilities *Qualifications * Expertise in writing complex Cognos 8 reports a must (experience in writing reports for the OpenPages GRC application a plus). Experience with technologies used in web application development like web servers (IIS, WebLogic), client-side scripting (HTML, JavaScript\AJAX), server-side programming (JSP), markup (XML), and DBMSs (Oracle 11g, SQL, PL\SQL). Experience working in an agile environment with very little required documentation and motivation to work closely with business and end users to achieve business goals.
