Below find the Job description: Position: Oracle DBA Location: Appleton, WI Experience level: 8+ years Duration: 3 – 6 months (offsite possible after 2 months) *Should be local to WI and around WI The team is working on implementing a third party software package (Cover-all) that runs on Oracle and is having performance issues. The database is hosted on a Windows server. They currently don’t have an Oracle DBA on staff and need assistance in the following: • Redesign Oracle Database virtual server layout. Break out LUNS to address I/O Concerns • Build EM centralized server for maintenance, automation, alerting • Analyze database reorg needs. Plan and implement a reorg strategy • Review gather stats process.
