Functional Analyst/ Data Analyst
We have an immediate need for Functional Analyst to join our investment banking
team, in NY/NJ. This is a full time salary position with an excellent benefits
package.
In this role you will assist in the functional analysis for the collateral
program, assist with new functionalities, regulatory projects, etc. You will
be a part of a large team involved in various initiatives on a global level
that includes our business center in NY, offshore team and other stakeholders
located around the world.
Job Description for Functional Analyst / Data Analyst
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to identify, categorize, and map data
* Ability to understand systems & provide an impact analysis
* Ability to perform data analysis
* Ability to guide the development team to produce design & solution document
* Ability to work independently.
* Understand & have worked w/data feeds from CCPs to Clearing and Settlement
* Clearing and Settlement domain experience is required.
* Familiar with SLDC and querying in Oracle environment.
* Excellent communication and written skills.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
* 5-10 yrs of experience as FA with strong knowledge in Capital Markets
* Functional Analysis, Specifications Writing, Data Analysis
* Experience planning, conducting, collecting and analyzing data
* Strong communication to interface with the client and Business IT teams
* Technology background
* Central Counterparty, Clearing and Settlement domain knowledge
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree
