Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION 1* *Sr. Business Analyst with Pharma Industry experience* *Cambridge, MA* *Quintiles* *3+ Months (we are unsure of the length but it will most likely extend much further than 3 months)* *C2C Rate: $58/Hour * PURPOSE: This role works with customers, business units and project teams in the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the life of the project. This role conducts solution feasibility analysis ensuring the business needs are delivered by the overall project and overall solution quality is achieved. The BA will work closely with other Business Analysts and developers (onshore and offshore) to ensure that requirements are fully understood by the technical team before solutions are designed and implemented. This position will adhere to established System Life-Cycle (SLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, where applicable, in facilitating innovative solutions that meet the specified requirements and add value to Quintiles customers and overall business. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform requirements gathering and analysis in order to provide high quality and detailed requirements, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user community Create prototypes and simulations to provide an accurate, graphical user interface representation, thereby facilitating successful solution design and development Facilitate and/or participate in joint analysis and design sessions to understand needs of the customer. Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to business requirements and customer needs Resolve conflicting end-user requirements Follow Quintiles System Life-Cycle (SLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, as appropriate Collaborate with designated members of the applicable business groups to create requirement documents Collaborate with the design and development teams to create Functional Specification (FS) documents Model processes to clarify business requirements, and to enhance or re-engineer business processes, prior to, or in parallel with, solution design and implementation, as necessary Produce and review data/information models and preliminary system architecture, as needed As needed, review the Performance Qualification (PQ) document(s) prior to authorization and execution, to ensure that it incorporates previously-captured requirements, and includes tests or test steps that explicitly address each identified user requirement Collaborate with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to business requirements and UI design specifications Collaborate with project team to ensure timely delivery and quality of all project deliverables Exhibit confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. Develop training and support programs for global technology and process implementations, as needed Identify initial Business Case requirements & other pre-project activities (e.g., high-level requirements, project scope, objectives) QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A motivated self-starter and technical leader with a track record producing positive results. Ability to guide the user in identifying business requirements with minimally 3 years proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification, and the ability to apply them in practice. Solid leadership, meeting management and facilitation skills to lead elicitation workshops. Strong ability to communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences. Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business writing skills. Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to work directly with business users who are not technical in nature. Critical thinking abilities to take complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them into smaller components, patterns, views *POSITION* *Software QA Engineer with Pharma Industry experience* *Cambridge, MA* *Quintiles* *3+ Months (we are unsure of the length but it will most likely extend much further than 3 months)* *C2C Rate: $58/Hour * *PURPOSE * Under limited supervision creates and executes test cases for large software applications and integrated systems to verify that the documented requirements of the system(s) have been successfully met and that all potentially affected applications and systems will operate as expected once deployed to the production environment. Ensures that test cases are authored to fulfill testing objectives defined as part of the broader project/system testing strategy and that authoring and execution activities follow a requirements-driven testing approach in compliance with procedures for functional requirements testing and user requirement testing. *RESPONSIBILITIES * Authors test cases for larger or more complex software applications within the scope of a broader defined testing strategy and is typically involved in test strategy development for projects and systems. Works with other members of the project team to gain necessary input and execute appropriate revisions to ensure accurate and complete software testing activities. Designs, writes and executes tests to prove system functionality, verify business and user requirements are met and that system will operate as expected in the production environment. Typically involved in the project planning phase and be required to provide work estimates. Accurately estimates the magnitude and time requirements to complete testing for projects. Provides accurate and timely updates to project manager and/or team lead on progress. Supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets and test scripts Performs internal peer reviews of test cases from other engineers prior to and following execution to ensure issues/errors with the test scripts are identified and resolved. Reports status, progress and concerns in a proactive, consistent and accurate manner to senior team members, to the Project Manager or to the project test lead. May serve as test lead for a project. Reviews requirements specifications for testability and verifies and ensures traceability of testing to requirements and vice versa. Performs review of deliverables produced by other project members throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, for completeness and detail, ensuring the specifications are of a high quality and can be used to write test scripts. May participate in technical meetings with Business Analysts and Developers. Maintains knowledge and understanding of system and project testing strategies/approaches and the CSV and SDLC processes adopted by Quintiles Late Phase Solutions. Keeps current on software application testing industry knowledge and computer system validation knowledge by attending industry conferences, reading industry periodicals and training via workshop attendance and self-study. *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Possess fine-tuned analytical skills; very detail oriented Excellent oral/written interpersonal skills; user focused; work well with team members. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Very strong knowledge/skills around test case creation and test execution; ability to create and execute test cases as part of broader testing strategy Solid understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process. Ability to perform primary testing role in review of requirements specifications for testability, in design review and in testing strategy reviews. May lead testing strategy review sessions Ability to author and execute test cases as well as to assist in authoring test plans and strategies and coordinate testing and testing assignments with minimal technical instructions and guidance Ability to demonstrate and articulate the application of logical, analytical thought to a testing issue Ability to deconstruct problems/systems into smaller components; organize components as part of larger system.
