Position: Android Developer Location: Glendale or Sunnyvale (ideal is Glendale but they'll consider either) Duration: 3-6 months+ Rate: pay market (they know it will be a lot so pay well but don't just give money away) Interview process: phone and f2f Job Summary: Join the team of engineers building our local search and advertising mobile applications in use by millions of users each month (more selling points below). Collaborate with product management and designers to deliver compelling functionality to our flagship application, mobile, as well as developing new applications. Job Details: Develop, test and deploy Android applications according to product and design specifications. Analyze and debug crash and bug reports. Work with cross-functional teams to define and validate web services for use by mobile application. Create rapid prototypes to demonstrate and assess feature and/or interface proposals. Maintain the Android codebase using industry standards and best practices.
