*Position: Big Data Architect with AWS & S3 storage experience* *Location: Boston, MA (locals preferred)* *Duration: 3 months* *Rate: OPEN/DOE* *Industry: Pharma (prior experience desired)* Pharma Company is in the process of modernizing its Data warehouse platforms. – PHARMA COMPANY’s next generation DW platforms are Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Storage Service (S3) and Redshift to land, process, and store information (e.g. HCP, HCO, territory alignment, demand) that is critical to the Business Excellence team. – In parallel, there are several strategic initiatives (e.g. FDA Approval for new oncology therapy, MDM platform selection & implementation, an upcoming other Pharm company Copromote, new patient services features in Salesforce.com, Competitive data for neurology, hardware cartridges for Fertility institutions, payer/plan mastering, EDI wholesaler Data integration, claims data from IMS) that will push the Capacity of PHARMA COMPANY data warehousing staff and Systems. – It is critical to ensure the new AWS stack is deployed to Production in a manner that avoids potential disruption that Interferes with ongoing business operations as well as the Upcoming initiatives.
