Job Description: *•Minimum 7 years programming with Java EE, XML, Web Services and other key Java technologies •Minimum 5 years' experience developing distributed applications - Netty 3 and higher, Akka 2.2 and higher •Minimum 3 years' experience performing in a lead role on major projects •Minimum 2 years' experience using Play Framework with Java and Scala - version 2.0 and higher •Proven expertise in Web UI Technologies including XML, XHTML/HTML, DHTML, Javascript, CSS, HTML5. •Strong experience with Application Servers (Tomcat) and Expert-level understanding of networking protocols, in particular HTTP and working knowledge of WebSockets •Ability to share technical knowledge and clearly communicate technical concepts *Desirable Skills:* •Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies including rapid prototyping, continuous integration, etc •Experience with SOA - (WebServices - SOAP based) concepts, design, tools, techniques, best practices •Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations •Relevant Certifications a strong plus.
