*Interview mode: Phone then F2F.Job Description:*This is an exciting
opportunity to be a part of the team that is responsible for planning,
designing, and engineering complex Data Center relocation.
*This fast-paced environment will challenge your knowledge of BGP, MPLS,
LAN/WAN environments, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS and other complex network
technologies. *
In this role, you will be an important member of a critical team for our
firm initially working on a discovery and definition phase of the Data
Center move, identifying key aspects and planning the move to other
destination site Data Center.
This will progress on to the provisioning and implementation of the
relocation, working in conjunction with the network environment owners.

*Responsibilities:*
•Assisting with per product group move strategy development and teasing out
the resulting network requirements
•Data Center discovery
•Move planning
•WAN migrations
•Drives and “owns” specific areas within projects
•Cleary communicates issues and concepts
•Understands what our business is
•Assists in providing 3rd level support
•Technical Skills and Qualifications
•Confident level of routing protocols and applications EIGRP, BGP, and
OSPF.

*•Hands on experience with various Cisco routers and switches (6500, 7600,
72xx, 38xx, etc) both on the hardware and IOS. •Experience in multicast and
market data delivery is a major plus *
•Experience with Firewalls and load balancers. Previous experience with
Cisco PIX Firewalls, Cisco CSS and F5 load balancer is a plus
•Experience of MPLS technologies such as L3 VPN, L2 VPN models
•Previous work experience that involves support role for a 1000+ node
network environment
•User level knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Netflow and Basic knowledge of
UNIX OS

*General Requirements*
•Excellent analytical skills
•Ability to deliver desired result under pressure
•Motivated self starter and be able to work with little supervision
•Drives, manages, and “owns” projects end-to-end
•Bachelor degree of Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
*•At least 4 years experience in a large infrastructure (200+ WAN nodes) in
a engineering capacity*
•Financial service experience is a major plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly
articulate complex issues
•The candidate has to be task oriented, able to manage multiple streams of
work concurrently, and understands commitment to timetable and deliverables
•Attention to details and consistency on performance is an absolute must.
*•CCNP or equivalent experience is highly desired*
•PMP or ITIL certification is a major plus
•Ensure proper documentation for all work performed including diagrams,
IP/Subnet databases, DNS, Maintenance, etc.
•The candidate should be comfortable working on flexible schedule and from
time to time on weekends as the project requires
•The candidate will work with multiple groups and team members locally and
across the Globe on various level of activities related to the projects
underway
