Title: Datastage Architect posted on 2014-11-06 14:37:53 Job Description: Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6 months contract to hire (they will sponsor visas) Role: Datastage Architect SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting all phases of the software development life-cycle process for Data Stage, business intelligence tools, RDBMS, and other supporting processes and applications. Analyze, architect, develop, test and execute delivery of Business Intelligence projects. Perform analysis and design activities for BI projects to be developed. Conduct software package evaluations and work with vendors to implement selected solutions. Coordinate quality assurance efforts by creating and executing test plans. Assist in creating user documentation for applications. Coordinate system sign-off, move to production, and support of applications POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: · Multi-tasking on multiple projects potentially at different stages of project development · Meet with project sponsors to assist with documentation of requirements · Perform analysis and design activities for BI projects · Analyze systems needs and create system models · Analyze data needs, create and modify data models · Conduct software package evaluations and work with vendors to implement · Assist with quality assurance efforts by creating and executing test plans · Assist in creating user documentation for applications · Coordinate system sign-off, move to production, and support of applications Qualifications: · Ten or more years of experience in Information Technology field · Three or more years of experience as a Data Stage architect in architecting, designing, developing, unit-testing, and documenting ETL projects in IBM Data Stage, and IBM InfoSphere suits. · Seven or more years of experience as a Data Stage developer in designing, developing, unit-testing, and documenting ETL projects in IBM Data Stage, and IBM InfoSphere suits. · In depth experience with data mapping, data extract, transformations, reusability, availability, scripting of ETL load and ETL reconciliation processes. · In depth experience with data warehousing and business intelligence projects, having delivered multiple solutions in these areas · In depth experience with IBM InfoSphere Quality Stage and Data Quality concepts. · Experience in implementing IBM InfoSphere CDD (Change Data Delivery) and CDC stages. · Experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer · Experience with IBM InfoSphere metadata workbench. · Experience with windows scripting to process through Data Stage objects. · Experience in implementing optimizing and debugging derived SQL statements, · Experience in implementing, optimizing, and debugging stored procedures, · Capable of working on multiple tasks in parallel. · Experience with business processes and the automated workflow · Thorough understanding of IT (SDLC) delivery methodologies · Understanding of relational databases and data modeling/database design · Experience with integration with enterprise applications · Mentor peers with ETL skills and other necessary scripting, reviewing, and documenting. · Excellent communication skills, verbal and written · Good group presentation skills and a team player · Bachelor’s degree in related discipline *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/278774> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
