We have been asked by our client to identify a best *Middleware
Administrator *for *Detroit, MI *location.
Our client is a highly regarded company in the IT Services.


*Title: Middleware AdministratorLocation: Detroit, MIDuration: Long Term*
The Integration and Middleware team is responsible for installs,
configurations, maintenance, upgrades, hardware migrations, patch
management, troubleshooting, repair, performance tuning, incident / problem
resolution, as well as monitoring and providing 24x7 support.  In addition,
the group engages in setup, deploys, security management, capacity
management, and will coordinate backup / restore and system recovery
activities.  It also supports infrastructure architecture, application
integration, projects setup and deployments.
The group will perform, install, upgrade firmware and configure HP UCMDB &
Service Manager.  It will provide administration and operational support,
firmware updates roadmap, troubleshoot, alerts, monitoring and automated
recovery, transactions traceability and tracking, issue resolution related
to data exchange, data transformations, access, performance and capacity
management.
The team also monitors application infrastructure for service availability
supporting business operations.

*HP uCMDB:*
The Configuration Management Lead is also the primary single point of
contact for establishing and maintaining DDMa Discovery Tool and *uCMDB* to
meet current and future needs as part of our client's Information
Technology Service Management strategy.  This person will be responsible to
lead product version upgrades, patch implementations, integrations with
other HP BTO tools, and all other aspects of administering and configuring
this tool set.
*Responsibilities*:

   - Define a short term & long term roadmap to build & maintain the right
   level of relationships between the CIs across different levels in the IT
   environment.
   - Develop a standard usage model for HP *uCMDB* that is extensible and
   repeatable across other CIs in the environment.
   - Design and implement the Service Models in *UCMDB* effectively.
   - Administer reporting.
   - Maintain import jobs from discovery sources including HP DDMa to
   insure all required data is discovered via *UCMDB*.
   - Create integrations to new discovery sources.
   - Ensure access groups are set-up correctly based on roles.
   - Review integration requests and prepare technical estimate for
   corresponding work to be performed.
   - Create and maintain any enrichment rules required to propagate data to
   specific CI fields.
   - Maintain CI Types as needed. Configure user profiles with necessary
   rights.
   - Ensure the development of new service models based on design packages.
   - Maintain awareness of emerging technologies & make applicable
   recommendations to improve the solutions implemented and supported by the
   team.

*HP Service Manager:*

   - Participation in Detailed requirement gathering sessions Business /
   Functional / Technical documentation.
   - Provide recommendations or suggestion during the requirements session
   and help minimize customization and implement out of the box solution
   - Identify Dependency, Risk and Issues and document the same
   - Install / Configure / Tailor / Customization of HP-Incident, Problem,
   Change, SLM
   - Promote configurations / Customizations between environments
   - Provide L3 support during and after project life cycle
   - Coordination with Client / BA’s / Technical Leads for requirements
   clarifications
   - Provide details / Information for the leads to help come up with
   effort Estimation (Time)
   - 4 + Years’ of development experience on Service Center / HP Service
   Manager (7.x / 9.x)
   - Good understanding on ITIL Concepts
   - Knowledge on VB Script/Java Script
   - Good understanding and knowledge SQL Database Knowledge
   - Knowledge on Windows and Unix administration
   - Hands on integrating HP tools with Monitoring tools
   - Hands on implementing CMDB




Job Requirements: *Troux:*
Creating *Troux* Policy Manager configurations in order to catch and remedy
data, liaison between client and*Troux* to include key elements in planning
discussion such as release schedules, technology sunsetting, modules, best
practice, and configuring and planning of scheduled jobs within *Troux*,
enterprise wide, including collaboration with other parties.
Software configuration and maintenance

   - Experience building & deploying models in Troux
   - Use of Troux Architect to illustrate and plan for data and
   configuration in TrouxMetaverse
   - Ability to create custom reports, data extracts, and SQL queries
   Configuration of Datamart and Troux Databases

*Education:*

   - Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent experience
