Position: Director Sales / Executive Sales
Job Type: Full Time
Start: Immediate
Location: New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA

*Candidates should mandatorily have 2-3 yrs of experience in services sales
or business development in the media eco-system. Candidates should have a
successful track record in selling "s/w product life cycle and technology
services" to video/music service providers and aggregators, content
providers/studios/networks and online media platform providers. Will
entertain recent graduates (2-3 yrs out of college) as well as experienced
candidates.*

*"US geography based, media services sales experience is a big plus".*

Preference for candidates based in/around the media hubs of New York and
LA, but for the right candidate they can be based anywhere in the US.
BS in Science/Engineering (with business acumen) or Bachelors/Masters level
Business Degree (with Technology acumen)

*Role and Responsibilities -*
·         Lead "Media Practice" services sales in specified segment/region.
·         Create and work a sales funnel based on prospects from internal
leads, cold calls, marketing campaigns, trade shows and events etc. and to
keep it updated in CRM system.
·         Work collaboratively with marketing to ensure marketing efforts
are aligned with Media sales efforts - comfortable with speaking
engagements, webinars etc.
·         Drive pitch development, proposal writing (RFX responses), work
with legal for closing agreement Ts and Cs,  and with management team for
pricing negotiations to close business.
·         Understand the demo needs get it executed by the internal demo
team.
·         Deliver those demos to prospects in pursuit of business.
·         Strong in Technology sales (Familiarity and strengths in video
technologies and UX are a plus).
·         Familiarity with basic concepts of software development
methodologies (Agile, waterfall etc).
·         Accountability to sales numbers, CSAT metrics. Ownership of some
key accounts in addition to hunting for new business.
·         Team player, ability work collaboratively within the sales team
and the practice to delver results.
·         Strong written and communication skills.
