SKILLS in order of priority are now the following:

1) SQL

2) QC

3) Freddie/Fannie experience

4) Unix

5) QTP/VB scripting

 

*Developing test cases in HP Quality Center per requirements; complex
back-end financial applications; 

*Leading or participating in peer reviews and other quality improvement
activities

*Executing testing per the project plan

*Producing standard Freddie Mac SDLC deliverables, metrics and reports

*Must have strong SQL and UNIX experience

*Must have experience executing shell scripts (writing shell scripts highly
desirable)

*Prior Fannie/Freddie a huge plus

 

PROJECT:  Freddie Mac is required to implement a number of high priority
projects to support the FAS 140 and SOX 404 initiatives by the end of the
year. Both of these initiatives are large-scale efforts and the successful
execution of each program requires a rigorous and disciplined management
approach to enable business objectives to be met. Freddie Mac is looking for
assistance with Testing, specifically the role of Test Automation (up to 3
positions initially) and Functional Testing (up to 7 positions initially). 

 

                        FAS 140: Freddie Mac is required to implement the
revised Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) standard. 140 (FAS140)
and revised FASB Interpretation 46R (FIN46R) (the Standards) by 12/31/2009.
Implementation of the Standards involves system, process and financial
reporting changes related to balance sheet assets and liabilities as well as
development of an interim end user computing (EUC) solution to address going
forward accounting treatment for the modified asset classes and their
associated accounting transactions.
