*Title:FIX engineer (Investment banking experience Must)*
*Location:NYC*
*Duration:12 Months *
*Rate: Open *

*Responsibilities:*
· Engineer and maintain *FIX connections to clients* for the purpose
of *Electronic Trading*.
· Support all *DMA and Algorithmic* trading flow.
· Direct support of the *FIX systems and Order Routing
Infrastructure*.
· Liaise with Development and/or the external Vendors to take it all
the way through into Production.
· Own issues and liaise with various IT Support groups, Development
groups and external vendors as appropriate to ensure quick problem
resolution.
· Proactive management of the FIX infrastructure to identify
problems before Clients are affected.
· Testing with Clients in *QA environment* where needed.
· Liaise with the Vendors with regard to the FIX
specifications/configurations supported Configure the *UAT FIX systems* and
complete conformance tests.

*Skills Required:*
· Strong Experience in *UNIX.*
· Strong *SQL* Experience of *PERL, CSH,* etc.
· Experience of *Equities Trading. *
· Experience in *Trading/IOI's*.
*Note: Candidate must provide two references from last two projects*
