Role : Dot Net Developer Location : Brentwood Way, TN Duration : 6 months+ Job Description: The Developer is responsible for development and support of Laboratory Information Systems. Primary Skills: Ø ASP.Net 3.5/4.0 CSS IE9 C# VB.Net JQuery JavaScript JSON WCF XML MVC4 MVVM Secondary Skills: Ø Application Support SQL HL7 X12 BIi Reporting Tools ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Technical design and development using a combination of .NET technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.Net and third-party APIs · Develop modules to accept and/or transmit data to other internal and external systems using XML, HL7, X12 or vendor-specific technologies · Work with the PM/BA to understand the business requirements and document functional specifications · Technical design and technical specifications documentation · Code development, code review, unit testing and release documentation · Work with QA/SCM team for code builds, releases, test case design and defect resolution · Assist with quality assurance tasks, including test data preparation, defect root cause analysis · Work with Team Lead/Project Manager for planning, estimation, documentation and status reporting · Mentor other teammates on .NET technologies, design and development · Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables Production support Qualifications · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent · Minimum of 7 years experience in the design and development of .NET applications in an enterprise IT environment · Highly skilled in Web Application architecture and design. · Experience as a Team Lead providing direction and mentorship for other Developers preferred · Highly skilled in use of Design Patterns and development frameworks. · Proficiency in Java Script and AJAX required · XML and Web services experience required · Proficiency in writing SQL · Proficiency in Windows Server System architecture required · Experience with IIS setup and configuration · Experience with BI reporting tools required. Highly Desired: · Crystal reports experience highly desired · Experience with different software development life-cycles such as Agile and SCRUM · Healthcare industry experience is highly desired.
