This is to work for the DATA SCIENCES Group is responsible for providing
information
to help with "asset management" of the TICKETMASTER product and merchandising
team on the site (ie. Where, when and how things should be placed to encourage
people to purchase - think similar idea to Amazon etc).
This role is on lead the SW design, implementation and integration of
modules/applications
required to manage the new TMOL recommendation platform. This will entail the
development of UI componentsto replace/extends Rich Relevance.
Primary users of the management tools will be the TMOL Product and
Merchandising
team to manage placement of assets and recommendations on the site according
to various recommendation algorithms.
Tasks will include integration with TMOL, and the recommendation platform
back-end.
- Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, Node.js and JQuery
- experience with high-volume applications/systems requiring 24/7 uptime
- service-oriented distributed architecture (SOA) and asynchronous
message-based
concepts
- solid front end code from specifications including wire frames/ prototypes
and visual design standards
- Hands-on experience with XML and JSON
- Exposure to open source frameworks for distributed computing like Storm,
Memcached/Hazelcast,
ZeroMQ
