- Creation of a SharePoint/MOSS collaboration environment to support the Executive Committee meetings and the Product Board meetings - Plan the implementation of Microsoft SharePoint/MOSS environment in GBS VM HA environment - Plan the implementation of MS SQL 2008 with data at rest encryption protection implemented for the SharePoint/MOSS environment - Plan the integration with client AD environment - Plan the integration with existing two-factor authentication Safe word solution running in GBS VM environment - Creation of installation and support documents to meet GBS VM hosting requirements *Required Skills:* Subject Matter Expert - MS SharePoint plus the following: - SharePoint/MOSS collaboration environment - MS SQL 2008 w/data at rest encryption - Safe word solutions - .NET code (C#) - XSL style sheets - CSS - JavaScript - HTML - CAML (SharePoint-specific XML schema) - The importance of configuring SP with the various service IDs, and a detailed understanding of the role of each - How SP is installed (hives, non-default install drives, etc.) - A detailed understanding of how SP works with Active Directory - The importance of the design of the site, with site collections, supporting databases, etc., including best practices in terms of details such as port usage, naming conventions, etc. - A detailed understanding of how alternate access mappings work and relationship between mappings, host headers, URLs, AD domains, DNS domains, etc. - A detailed understanding of how solutions and features are deployed and activated, and the impact of restarting services on these - A detailed understanding of how to configure SSPs (with search, crawling, profile imports, email, etc.) SharePoint knowledge - installation, configuration, administration - basically end to end. - Windows 2003 - At least cursory knowledge on how to configure service IDs, starting/stopping services, IIS, reviewing local security policies enforced on the server. - Active Directory - enough knowledge to integrate SharePoint authentication into an existing AD environment for Single Sign On purposes. - General Engineering Skills - enough problem solving skills to root cause and fix the unexpected random issue quickly.
