*Position: Continuous Integration Developer* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration 9+ month * *Interview: Phone + F2F/Skype* *Job Summary and Mission* This position contributes to our client’s success by automating Build, Deploy, and Environment management processes used to enable Development, QA, and Release Management. *Summary of Key Responsibilities * Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: · Write Build Automation scripts · Write Deployment Automation scripts · Implement “Infrastructure as Code” Environment Management · Refactor existing test automation to validate Environment functionality (EVT), perform Build Validation (BVT), and basic functionality (smoke tests) · Write automation code to integrate build processes and tools · Write diagnostics and reporting code to automate troubleshooting tasks · Define, update and maintain environment and software build process documentation · Participate in Build Services analysis activities · Train and mentor team members on process and technologies used to support development and releases. *Summary of Experience:* The desired candidate will be able to discuss their experience in the following areas: · Can explain in detail the benefits of CI/CD · Demonstrates knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Release Management Processes · Source control, branching strategies, and associated tools · Enterprise scale automated environment management processes · Automated test execution and reporting processes · Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering and QA teams · Shows a desire to delight customers *Basic qualifications for this role are: * · 7+ years – Implementing automated build, deploy, and test automation frameworks · 7+ years – Implementing automated environment management tools and processes · Proven experience in the following languages and technologies · Languages: Ruby, JSON, MSDSC, Powershell · Technologies: Microsoft DSC, .Net, Jenkins, Chef, SQL, TFS *Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* · Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities · Detailed knowledge of Software Engineering and SDLC best practices · Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing · Ability to meet the demands of multiple projects and deadlines effectively with little or no supervision · Working knowledge of MS SQL Server (DB maintenance, general queries, etc.) · General knowledge of quality assurance functions including functional/system testing, user acceptance testing and systems integration testing · Must be self-starter and work effectively with minimal supervision. *Job Scope*: · Contingent Worker: 3-9 months *Core Competencies * · Puts the Customer First: Has a relentless focus on the customer.
