You must hold their valid H1. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Provide support services for the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition database management system (DBMS) product. · Provide support for tools related to managing the databases created through SQL Server Enterprise Edition. · Part of a team which establishes all appropriate guidance regarding the usage/installation of SQL Server databases. · Installation, maintenance, and upgrading of the following products: SQL Server Enterprise Edition Product Suite, Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Reporting Services (SSRS). · Proactive monitoring of SQL Server databases. · Incident management and problem resolution · Database consulting and some limited design and development work. · Database creation · Database security · Server builds · Database maintenance and recovery · Client tool support *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:* · Extensive experience with installation, administration and configuration of SQL Server 2005 is required and some knowledge of SQL Server 2008 desired. · Experience with SQL Server Log Shipping · Working knowledge of Windows 2003 and some knowledge of Windows 2008 desired. · Experienced with Windows Script Host and VB script. · Knowledge of Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM). · Experience with T-SQL and the SQL language in general. · Some experience with Windows Clustered server environments. · Knowledge of Windows security · Knowledge of Active Directory concepts · Experience with database replication and heterogeneous data access concepts. · Working knowledge of networks and ability to resolve network connectivity issues. · Understanding of testing theory and ability to make recommendations to improve testing process · Proven ability and experience leading others in a technical environment · Proven ability and experience improving work processes and team dynamics · Proven ability negotiating mutually acceptable solutions to all levels of customers and business partners.
