*Hi: Please send the matching resumes, rate and contact number for the below requirement.* *Please Reply to** [EMAIL PROTECTED] *Project Leader/Cognos Enterprise Planning* *Stamford**, CT*** *6 Months* *F2F Must* *Job Description: Project Leader/Cognos Enterprise Planning * * Lead the implementation of the Cognos planning tool and develop analysis models for the Treasury FP&A processes * Lead all phases of project including Work Flow analysis, User Requirements Walk-thru * Prepare and maintain project plans taking into account deliverables and available resources from GE and vendors * Manage the cost, quality and schedule of Cognos planning projects * Provide expertise on Cognos Planning methodologies used during project implementation * Work with business users to define requirements and facilitates JAD sessions for model design * Review model designs for accuracy and completeness * Proactively manage project status, issues and problems * Provide guidance to vendor teams on applying GE policies and procedures regarding SDLC, security, SOX, etc. * Drive project management through business and technical decisions related to data shared between Treasury applications * Act as a liaison between Treasury application owners and developers on the data warehousing, BI and enterprise application integration implementation team * Develop and write systems and applications documentation and guides for users * Help define training strategy, standards and implementation best practices * Provide mentoring and guidance to team members on planning model related issues * Review design/functional specifications to develop detailed test plans * Provide production support for all Cognos planning project implementations * Maintain peer relationships across IT areas to support effective implementations * Ensure compliance to documented IT standards * Lead and coach a distributed team in preparation of functional/technical specifications and development *Qualifications:* Four year college degree in computer science, information systems or finance, or equivalent work experience * 4+ years of relevant experiences in Planning, Budgeting and Financial reporting tools implementation, utilizing tools (e.g. Adaytum/Hyperion/Cognos Planning Analyst and Contributor and Cognos Finance) * Minimum 3 years experience in developing business intelligence applications for banking and Financial companies * Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) * Strong understanding data structures, data quality and cleansing strategies and experience analyzing large volumes of data * Must have solid SQL skills and be able to perform data analysis * Solid understanding of data warehousing OLAP business concepts * Model design experience utilizing Cognos Planning Analyst * Expert level knowledge in design and development of D-cubes, D-links, A-tables, Elists, etc. * Expert level knowledge and experience in dimensional data modeling * Implementation experience of Cognos Planning products * Experience in training clients on product and applications * Working knowledge and experience with ETL and BI tools *Desired Skills:* * Excellent communication, and leadership skills -* Broad knowledge of IT systems, processes and controls * Experience with office automations tools such as Word, Excel, Visio * Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability & execution fulfillment * Change Agent with ability to drive compliance, protocols, & standardization * Strong business acumen & successful track record in aligning with Customers * Strong cross-functional team player working seamlessly within a matrixed structure * Strong organizational skills - ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Green Belt Certified * IMLP Grad** Sincerely, *Naresh Chowdary* ** * * *|| Phone: 916 978 1057 Ext 301* *|| Efax: 603 719 0999 || Email: * [EMAIL PROTECTED] || Website: *www.vibhainc.com* ||* *Note:* This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
