Position: *Application Designer* Location: Overland Park,KS Duration: Long Term *Subject matter expert in Application Design. * Main Responsibilities: Designs, develops, installs, tests and documents complex database applications software, including server, client, and web components. Contributes to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components. Provides work guidance to less experienced personnel. Leads teams in providing flexible reusable components in designs. Provides highly complex design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate development. Develops strategy, design and data gathering approaches. Leads efforts to provide flexible reusable components to increase cost effectiveness. Analyzes, designs and reviews design of applications and suites to ensure that customer specifications are met. Oversees relationships between application architects and development teams to ensure that product development and implementation are coordinated. Leads product development teams and senior designers in developing accurate and relevant design requirements. Recommends and implements alternative courses of action as appropriate. Design, Code and Test systems solutions based on requirement specifications •Review and interpret business requirements document •Maintain system documentation (both within the code and within technical design documents) to enable ease of analysis for future development •Participates in the planning, design, development, and implementation of information solutions to address business opportunities •Develop web-based applications using Microsoft Development technologies and a variety of database platforms. •Analyze System issues and design, code and test system solutions which will resolve the issue •Analyze requirements and determine how it will affect new or existing systems Understanding of software development life cycle. •Create a positive and professional business relationship •BS Degree in computer related field or equivalent experience •Strong verbal and written communication skills *•5-10 years of software development experience * *•5 years of strong experience with .NET framework * •Strong SQL skills, including proficiency using Stored Procedures and views *•Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 * •Ability to work with team members to understand the business requirements and to assist with the development of effective solutions to meet the clients needs •Sound knowledge in architecting, designing and implementing SOA and Web Services based projects. *Microsoft .NET Framework-Experienced-2, Microsoft SQL Server-Expert-2, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)-Experienced-2, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET-Expert-2, Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net)-Expert-2* Thanks & Regards.....
