This position requires the ability to come up with independent ideas and work effectively within a global team to rapidly implement solutions and deliver production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable. *Skills Technical * - *Expert with front-end GUI (Swing and SWT) Extensive experience working with Fixed Income analytics libraries * - *Expert level experience with object oriented languages and design patterns (Java, C#, C++) * - *Strong knowledge of messaging technologies (RMDS, RV, JMS) * - *Expert knowledge of vendor development products and open source initiatives and tools * - *Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise quality applications. * - *Strong experience with Agile style development methods * - *Lead design and implementation of various application components within a team * - *Work closely with QA team to ensure high quality of the product * - *Perform design and code reviews * - *Establish best practices within a development team to make them more productive and efficient and mentor team members * * **BUSINESS SIDE EXPERTISE NEEDED by client* - *Experience with different activities of Fixed Income bond markets: pricing, trading, distribution and risk management * - *Good understanding of Fixed Income bond analytics * - *Strong knowledge of various pricing models (i.e. yield and basis spreads, swap spreads, and OAS curves) * - *Partner with Fixed Income core frameworks team and deliver high-quality solutions that can be reused by other teams * - *Validate overall application design and make sure that applicable technologies are being used * - *Work with Business Analysts to come up with non-trivial optimal IT solutions for business problems * - *Lead evaluation of third party products to make buy vs. build decision * - *Make sure that all new solutions are scalable and yield to high architectural standards * - *Maintains client expectation without sacrificing deadlines and quality * - *Ability to break large problems into well-defined and manageable tasks * - *Copes with change and ambiguity while ensuring all effort to make sure that there is cooperation and teamwork. * Looking forward for your RESPONSE.
