*Job Title: Automation Tools Engineer* *Location: Redmond - WA* * Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* The Automation Tools Engineer integrates drivers and firmware with the Windows build infrastructure. This role requires engaging with software engineers in both the software development and build infrastructure teams. The Tools Engineer is responsible for configuration management and the delivery and verification of builds on a regular cadence within the Post-Launch Engineering Team. *Responsibilities:* · Manage integration of drivers and firmware within source code control system (e.g., TFS and Source Depot). · Configuration management of drivers and firmware within existing build infrastructure. · Should have PS script experience & MSi/WiX experience · Investigate, debug and resolve defects when the build breaks, or drivers / firmware fail to install. · Improve build and release automation. · Build Verification Test automation. · Recommend and make improvements to build infrastructure. *Required Skills:* · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience/training. · 2+ years of C# and PowerShell scripting experience. · At least one year of experience working with build infrastructure (e.g., GNU make or similar tools). · Good familiarity with embedded software development builds tools. · Strong communication skills. · Good analytical skills. *Desired Skills:* · Familiarity of Windows tools, such as Source Depot, TFS, Visual Studio, MSI packages and DISM. · Experience with other scripting languages is a plus. · 2+ years’ work related experience. · Relevant technical skills. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · Advanced knowledge of programming languages and/or development tools is a plus Regards, *Sampath * *Idexcel Inc*., *703-230-2635 * sampa...@idexcel.com <@idexcel.com> www.idexcel.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
